Thinking about my post last night, I realised that I was a bit hyperbolic. To say that I found the "C2K" thing offensive is overstating things. It'd be more accurate to say that I was suprised and let down by it. That we used acronyms for jurisdictions is perhaps not the greatest thing in the world, but it's at least an accepted thing in discussion. Are we now going to start using acronyms for bishops, though? I hope not! The Bishop who coined the "C2K" acronym thinks that Archbishop Chrysostom II is a fallen bishop; I would expect a bit more respect for Arch. Chrysostom from those who do consider him an Orthodox Bishop, though.
PS. Daniel -- I feel this way because of the origin of that acronym: I think it is purposely meant as a slight against Arch. Chrysostomos. That's my "opinion". The Bishop who coined the C2K thing is of the "opinion" that "C2K" is a fallen bishop; so I suppose I'm voicing my own opinion.
PSS. After talking with Nicholas, I see that I was just being overreactive and over-sensitive... so... um... I'll stand here with egg on my face and wait for everyone to leave
