For the time being, therefore, I occasionally put some drops of the HerbPharm Rhodiola Rosea TINCTURE into my herbal tea [in the morning !]. Usually I forget, and then it's too late for that day. Hence I have not taken much during the past few years.
By the way, there is also a Glycerite form of Rhodiola offered by cutting edge HerbPharm [ Williams, Oregon ].
I believe it is still available. I treasure my old tinctures of it because they are great for traveling when one can not dissolve the alcohol-based tinctures in tea. That is what one needs to do. IF one takes it straight from the tincture, one is absorbing the alcohol, which is terrible for many of us who are sensitive to that. And it's disastrous for people with adrenal fatigue, or any other condition, as the liver will be MORE encumbered than it already is.
Hence, that is why one must dissolve the drops into hot water or herbal tea or black tea - when these are still quite warm.
