Dear Valentina,

You might want to look at the effects of WWI on public opinion regarding Nicholas II. I think the war really acted as a catalyst for attacks on the czar, the czarina, etc. The tragedy of the war was also used by revolutionaries, to their advantage, imop.

There were all kinds of revolutionary movements and ideologies all over the place for years before Nicholas II. It can probably be traced back to Peter the Great's westernization of Russia, and also Catherine the Great. And all this western stuff can be traced to the "enlightenment", after which followed the French Revolution...Or are you speaking only about the immediate circumstances which resulted in the Revolution? I'd argue that it was inevitable, considering the historical circumstances of the 200 years leading up to it.
