So in retrospect, what do we think? It was basically what I expected. Here is the real question though: will the Athonites cease commemorating him and get back on the path of True Orthodoxy or not?

The aftermath of this event was not reported extensively:
First, the Pope hid his cross when he met with rabbis on May 26, 2014.
After the Pope left, there was a fire in the very area in Bethlehem where Christ was born, and where this Pope had held an interfaith prayer meeting. The damage was quite extensive. In the photo below, the holy tapestries in the church covering the walls have been destroyed.

The Pope hid his cross so as not to offend the Rabbis.
Excuse me while I pick up my jaw from the floor.
Pope Francis is a denier of Christ as are those who are in communion with him.

That damage is appalling ! What a message, truly !!
I only saw a glimpse of a headline about a fire at Bethlehem ; had no idea about this unbelievable timing.
That is a mufti or some type of Islamic cleric on Pope Francis' left side, by the way, I believe.
Unless rabbis wear more elaborate attire than usual these days.
That's incredible about the hiding of his pectoral cross ! Shameful.

Unfortunately, the push for the Vatican-EP union persists.
There was a blasphemous icon recently posted on facebook.
Have the Ecumenists already begun to create icons to commemorate this reunion between Rome and the EP, or was this icon pictured below made to commemorate the false reunion of the Council of Ferrara-Florence (1438-1439) that was ultimately denounced by St. Mark of Ephesus?

What was this "icon" ? It now shows as a box with an 'x' in it.
You could just describe it.
Somehow this thread returned, though I don't see any new posts. I read it over. That damage at Bethlehem is terrible to see. There must be demons packed in surrounding this so-called Pope wherever he goes. The charred building materials appear to be evidence for that, for that seems to be their signature.
