That IS funny, Maria !
I guess I am not "with current things", but what is so objectionable to the average person out there about
"Master bedroom" ? Is it the masculine choice rather than a neutral term ?
The fact is, it describes the main quarters of the house in a clearly understood way.
What does "homeowner bedroom" mean to anyone ? Really vague designation, which lacks any sense of grandeur.
I think real estate agents are a little harmed by substituting this plebeian term.
Let us know of any OTHER developments in the field, Maria !
It's been almost 2 decades since I dealt with any real estate people. Funny, I was just thinking about how
I got conned by that particular real estate agent who assured me that my prospective place had a NEW roof.
Yeah, next joke ! Rain poured in like a sieve as soon as I moved in.
I am still coping with the results of that lie almost 2 decades later !
She also dragged me to WORSE dwellings, not listening to my insistence that I was NOT interested to see any other places.
Too aggressive.
A huge storm started on way back which I would have missed without the delay she had caused, and caught my poor little underpowered car in the middle of it.
It was really a scary trip and I barely, barely made it home! I was terrified all the way back.
Example of devils conniving using pushy personalities, to create extra trouble.
After that, I really had no wish to deal with any real estate agent after that insensitive, and downright slick liar.
I did consult another to help a friend try to find a property once. But that was all.
So let us know if you hear any other stories of such changes of terminology or any related topics !
