We dare you dear fr. S. and anyone else to find such accusations elsewhere on the internet and specifically of such kind coming from "us"...

Since today is the nameday of "Euphrosynos cafe" forum and we are at the beginning of the new ecclesiastical year, we the committee of Ekklisiastikos would like to address a request to the moderators of this forum, Fr. Anastasios and br Jonathan, both members of the canonical True Orthodox Church of Greece, to seclude from now on all those "arsonists" and "bombers" who are slandering or are spreading despicable rumors (such those for fr.Akakios) and never respond back whenever they're asked to provide any proofs of their accusations.

Thank you!

Allow me to weakly protest. One of these "arsonists" is a moderator on the forum. I agree that when people make a claim they have to document it thoroughly, but they should at least be reminded and given an opportunity to respond, not simply calling for banning other people and throwing in a little "by the way, since you are both members of the TOC-Kallinikos" (hidden meaning: so you'd better listen). As I remember correctly, although you do have a nice pic of Metr Chrysostomos, and the user name is "Ekklisiastikos", aren't you all laymen? I mean this "request" sounds uncomfortably like an order, and last I heard, one you all can't issue. I think the language is heated on both sides, and really to suggest punishing the rest of us with a party-line policy is uncalled for. Further, it will damage the board.

And just for the record, I know for a fact that this letter was not a private letter to the members of the Guildford Parish. I didn't say anything at first, but I also got a copy when it was first sent, on September 3 N.S. (I just chose to say nothing, because Vladimir writes a few of these, and frankly, the stuff he wrote wasn't exactly surprising.). The author of the letter is the one primarily responsible for its contents, though people have chosen to defend it. For all intents and purposes he sent it in the exact same way as far as I can tell as he sends his open letters. I think the author needs to be held liable with his Bishop far more than any people here with the moderating team on the Cafe.

P.S. Happy Namesday Cafe! (I can't really give it a festal greeting. It's a computer program, so it's kind of weird.)

No! only you took it that way. It was a polite request to friends.

The "same athor" is not only responsible for the spreading of such filthy rumors about fr. Akakios but also responsible for the labeling of Mati Euphrosyne as a secret agent of the police. Imagine this!!! Their own supporter damages from within his leaders' reputation. Those of you who were recepients of fr. Augustine's polite, sincere and edifying letter to Novi Stjienik sisterhood you are aware of this fact! Not to mention also the characterization of RTOC as "pseudo-catacombites" by him in some of his earlier essays.

This arsonist's statement was the the reason of our request:

Well, I've already made a note about Vladimir's occasional inconsistency. I remember very well his dissatisfaction with RTOC, but he seems to have "changed his tune" since the union discussions.

Since the arsonist is a priest, is it too much to call him "Father Arsonist" or to that effect?

About Mr. Moss Letter to Parish (on Serbian matter)

Dear members,

For the sake of true and with al the respect for Mr. Moss and his contributions to the True Orthodox Church History, it must be know:

We are those Romanians who were received from Slatioara in GOC Kallinikos and we testimony that Bp. Photios of Marathon was the person who tell to Fr. Nektary not to Chrismate us, but to be received only by a prayer of absolution. We hear when Fr. Nectary, at that time our confessor, call in Greece Bp. Photios.

At that time His Grace Kallinikos was not the Archbishop of the Synod and despite the fact that he was the Exarch of Europe, it must be know that the 'Akakian' group take blessings or advices only form Bp. Photios of Marathon.

When we ask Archbishop Kallinikos about our receiving, His Grace said that was not a Synodal decision and it must be possible that Bp. Photios made this decision on his own...

We think also that the reason of that Romanians who follow 'Akakians' is only for the following their father confessor, Nektary; they are not radically with one of the parts and also don’t want to be part in the dispute.

About us (two families), we remain with the GOC Kallinikos and want to be in sincerely, friendly relations (but not liturgical) with the other Romanian group.

In Christ, our Lord and Saviour,

Laurentiu Nita,
Catalin Popa
and families
Romania, GOC Kallinikos
