Anyways, I think it is pointless to keep arguing this. We obviously have different viewpoints on the MP and on how we should react if in this situation. I think you are a good person, but that we don't need to debate this endlessly Smile.

Fair enough. I don't expect you to keep arguing. I do though have some extra points I want to add that you can take on board as food for thought, or it might be of interest to someone else to read.

I think the main difference between your argument and my argument is the focus on 'I' or 'us'. * Please see extracted quotes:

So what if I'm starving by the Nazis. So I go fight for the Soviets who have just burned down my Church, how could I justify that?

Let's say I do go actually fight for the Soviets, when I come back I am going to go back into the Catacombs and follow the Catacombnik bishops since I believe the MP is in heresy and then they will make me suffer just like the Nazis did, possibly even worse than the Nazis made me suffer.

A. I am not real likely to want to defend a government who just burned down the Church and killed my priest a few days ago, regardless of the suffering I am experiencing.

B. What would be the point, I go fight to keep myself from being killed by Nazis only to come back after the war to be killed by Soviets (or at least have my life turned into a living hell by them, and even if I am not alive, my family would suffer that for being Catacombniks).

Your focus seems to be your own suffering. The intent of my argument is other's suffering.

Link to St.Eustathius' life (the spelling in my previous post was incorrect).

*Emperor Trajan was the emperor that condemned St.Ignatius of Antioch to death (and probably many other Christians).

I apologise for my absence; you know, life gets in the way and I also had some computer problems...
Anyway, I stand by my comments and I really don't mind if anyone disagrees with me. I will say this--at least when I post something I attempt to have correct spelling. No one; and I mean NO ONE, has any business calling me on anything if they can't spell. For those of y'all that can spell, still think I'm a jerk and want to let me know so; I appreciate it.
I will take a 'dressing down' from an articulate writer any day and will give them respect. We are posting on an English language forum and I expect anyone who posts here to do so with very little, or no spelling mistakes.
Anything less is just plain trashy.
Oh yeah; GO MP!!!
