I'm sorry, but I have'nt looked at this thread in quite awhile.
Joe, I don't believe we have any churches in Kansas. Our synod is about to launch a new website for America which should have an online directory.
Julianna,
It was my fault for being so harsh with your bishop Gregory. I have had some correspondece with him and that has left me with some very cold thoughts of him. This is probably why I gave him a harsh treatment in my previous post.
As you may have expected, there are many more facts and issues with regard to the situation with bishop Gregory that spans over 5 jurisdictions he belonged to in a short amount of time. But unlike him, I am not inclined to say things publicly which only serves the demons by scandalizing people and widening the rifts further. All those who have the right faith should be striving to reconcile themselves even at the cost of their own dignity and pride, for the sake of Christs flock.
After all, if St. Peter who knew the Lord and yet denied Him THREE times(!) could be forgiven, and St. Paul, who persecuted the Church with such ferocious ambition, could also be forgiven, then why is it so hard for our shepherds to forgive each other? We must all demand this of them!
