I just now did realize that these might be closer to Schnectady than the closest ROAC church so I could still go to Vespers Does anyone know if these are in eastern MA?

:( Umm, sorry to tell you this, but they are both further away from Schnectady than the New Jersey Parish of ROAC. Sorry. Maybe you can visit a nice ROCOR parish for Vigil? :D

Do the Cyrpianites have a (english) Directory? how about your synod OOD? I am considering going to college in Manhattan Kansas after another year and that would put me 6 hours from the nearest ROCOR parish. I'm looking for a traditionalist Orthodox Church that I could go to and then every third sunday and feast days make it down to the nearest ROCOR parish.

We are ORTHODOX. We are TRUTH. We are THE CHURCH. We are ONE

Orthodoxyordeath does your GOC have a complete drectory?

Here we cannot boast in great numbers, neither of renown, nor of wealth, nor of learning - all that is valued in this world. We are strong here only in one thing - in possessing the Orthodox Faith, "and that not of ourselves; it is a gift of God" (Ephesians 2:8); and we should ask the Lord for the increase of this gift.Let them stand fast in Thy Holy Church in the Orthodox Faith. -Saint Tikhon, Patriarch of Moscow

ROAC and the GOC maybe small but we've the truth ROAC's in communion with the Genuine Orthodox Church of Bulgaria, Genuine Orthodox Church of France, Genuine Orthodox Church of Greece the Catacomb (True) Orthodox Church of Russia and the Latvian? Autonomous Orthodox Church.

One day I hope the HOTCAGOC and our communion's GOC'll be reunited and the ROCE will join us and become canonical.

ROCiE+GOC+ROAC+HOTCA

(I was just reviewing this thread as we added a new link to the portal of a store in Ipswitch and I was thinking that Julianna had mentioned a GOC Church there)

Well according to one of OOD's recent posts, ROAC in America has established communion with this GOC that is also close with ROCiE and Met. Valentine is close with the GOC often known as HOTCA here in America. Mayhaps those connections will help bring about what you desire Julianna.

I'm sorry, but I have'nt looked at this thread in quite awhile.

Joe, I don't believe we have any churches in Kansas. Our synod is about to launch a new website for America which should have an online directory.

Julianna,

It was my fault for being so harsh with your bishop Gregory. I have had some correspondece with him and that has left me with some very cold thoughts of him. This is probably why I gave him a harsh treatment in my previous post.

As you may have expected, there are many more facts and issues with regard to the situation with bishop Gregory that spans over 5 jurisdictions he belonged to in a short amount of time. But unlike him, I am not inclined to say things publicly which only serves the demons by scandalizing people and widening the rifts further. All those who have the right faith should be striving to reconcile themselves even at the cost of their own dignity and pride, for the sake of Christs flock.

After all, if St. Peter who knew the Lord and yet denied Him THREE times(!) could be forgiven, and St. Paul, who persecuted the Church with such ferocious ambition, could also be forgiven, then why is it so hard for our shepherds to forgive each other? We must all demand this of them!
