I would like to ask the moderators why they allow themselves to be recipients of such hateful influences. If you respect the purpose of ROCOR as it was established by the blessed hierarchs, then why do you make every attempt to disgrace it? Yes, the bishops of ROCOR, now, are not worthy of their post...but for the love of the memory of Met. Philaret and Archbp Averky, St. John of San Franscico and Fr. Seraphim Rose...and all those that suffered for being members of ROCOR...please understand that this is more than ROCOR critic. This is something very real and very important.

I love the holy hierarchs of ROCOR who had the courage to stand strong against the communist regime. Did you know that they could have been easily taken out? But, God protected them. He helped them to establish a strong faithful union of Orthodoxy against the bolshevik regime. It was allowed for a certain reason. And that reason was to keep Orthodoxy of Russia alive.

There are many in ROCOR who oppose this union. When the betraying bishops go with the MP, they will be part of the MP,but that doesn't make those who oppose it part of it. We will not follow.

We are the legacy of Holy Rus. We may not have Patriarch Thikon or Metropolitan Philaret, but we have their guidance. We have the responsibility that falls on our souls to keep the faith of Orthodoxy that they fought for.

What hateful influences? The Photoshopped pictures? I am sure Father Siluan did not catch that as I did not at first either. I doubt he would purposely post fake pictures.

Dear Joanna, I would say the current ROCOR who had accepted becoming part of this Soviet creation, the MP, and calling it Her mother has ceased being the historical ROCOR that we all love. This ROCOR joining the MP is a new ROCOR and the same, sadly, only in name.

Dear Joanna, I would say the current ROCOR who had accepted becoming part of this Soviet creation, the MP, and calling it Her mother has ceased being the historical ROCOR that we all love. This ROCOR joining the MP is a new ROCOR and the same, sadly, only in name.

You are misled and misinformed to believe that ROCOR is the bishops that want to join with the MP. The true ROCOR(the legacy of the historical ROCOR) are those of us who oppose this union. Those bishops, clergy and laymen who want to join with the MP are not considered the confessors of ROCOR, by us. We will continue with our stance against the unia.

Not everything is finalized yet. But, there are so many negative voices out there, including what is posted here, that it gives the rest of the world who are not ROCOR members, including YOURSELF, the impression that ROCOR has folded their position.

What I am trying to help you to see is that the confession of ROCOR is still alive with us. We honor the memory of the hierarchs who established ROCOR and stood their ground against the MP. If they were alive now, do you think that this union would be happening? We have a great struggle to face, but the confession of ROCOR is not dead. We are the confessors.

You're arguement is like that of people who look at the church, usually the Catholics and denouce Christianity because of their negative examples. And I, in turn, have always told those people that Christianity is not defined by what so-called clergy(including the pope) of Christianity have portrayed, but that Christianity is the teachings of Christ and that following His teachings is what makes a true Christian. I'm sure you would say the same thing, so doesn't that make us confessors of True Christianity?

And therefore, the true ROCOR are not portrayed by the bishops that want to join with the MP but those who still oppose the union and who honor the memory of the bishops who established ROCOR.

And so I say that you promote negativity against the true ROCOR believers which does not stem from love and therefore, if it is not love, it is hate. I have never read any words of hopefulness for those of us that are standing strong against the union. I have never read any words of encouragement and support for us, in recognizing us as the voice of the true ROCOR.

The Christian faith is viewed, by the world, as the catholics, but we know that true Christianity is the Orthodox Church. Just the same, those in the Orthodox world view ROCOR as the bishops who are betraying the memory of the holy hierarchs of ROCOR, but the true ROCOR are those who oppose the union. This should be clearly understood in order to see what is happening in our jurisdiction.

I explain this to you, because you are not living in our circumstance. You make your conclusions with prejudice which stems from ignorance of all the facts. You do a disservice to those of us who are fighting the spiritual battle in honor of the legacy of ROCOR.
