Oh my goodness! Is that a same-sex union being carried out by a priest, in one of the pictures on the third link?! I can't read Russian, so I don't know, but that's certainly what it looks like!

Yes, but to be fair, he was defrocked and the church was destroyed after this was done. Somewhere on this forum there is an intense thread on how it came about.

It never ceases to amaze me where Orthodox clergy and laity tend to troll for so called information and proof. This stuff is as bad as the stuff Brother Nathaniel has on his site and about as accurate as the stuff Iconophilli posts.

It would be a more profitable use of time and energy to avoid such sites and instead concentrate on things more profitable for our souls.

This demonstrates the kind of people and priests that there are in the MP, without any good formation in the faith or moral. Even a heretical Roman Catholic priest would do so.

how do we know that was a Mp Priest, i wasnt there and I havent seen any video, maybe the Priest brought them both up there and said- In this church you will never be married, and he takes the ring off and tells them to repent for being homosexual...
Hey but wasnt alot of the ROAC in MP?

Dear Spiridon,

As I said previously, this is a well documented event. Yes it was an MP priest that did this "marriage" and as I said there was a thread on this with all the facts. As for the ROAC, yes some of our clergy and laity came from the MP, but they all repented of that and then joined the Church. Most of the ROAC is from or still in the Catacombs.
