Hello,
Father Mark asked me about this fellow being discussed on this thread. Also the background of the letter written against me... Here is what I wrote to him:
"I remember something vaguely about this. I'll see if I ever saved that e-mail exchange. But I do remember writing to this fellow that I do not know or ever knew about his priest. I have no idea if he is good or bad or what. I wonder if this fellow put my response up on his site? I would be interested in seeing the original letter that prompted him to make such a letter to me, it might revive a memory or two.
If he is claiming to be under St. John the Theologian then he is a follower of that 18th century heresy about a "white brotherhood" that lives in the himalayas and is lead by St. John.... I ran across this while in New York. Bishop Constantine was taken in by it. He tried to teach us that one day at trapeza. Father Konstantin stopped him cold in mid-sentence. I also came across that book here in Edmonton in one person's house. They believe in "Atlantis" also... Lord have mercy! The 18th century sure brought forth a lot of silly ideas in all continents. The devils really worked hard those years in preparation....
Funny thing about the internet... anyone can say anything and make it look good. Also one can dress up like anything and gather followers. As far as having a photo with our bishops... no big deal anyone can come visit and take pictures and then claim that they have "relations." In all my years of contact with both Bishops Sergei and Bartholomew there was not the slightest hint at thier belieivng such nonsense... We do not need anymore nonsense surrounding us then we already have!"
Well I decided to spare Fr. Mark and just reply myself...
