First off, thanks to all who started this site. I just discovered it a few days ago, and find it useful and helpful.
Let me introduce myself. I'm a Lutheran (Missouri Synod) who is on the way out of the LCMS. I'm not sure where I should go, and seek your guidance and help.
I am familiar with Orthodoxy, but mostly through reading such men as Schmemann, and others like him from St. Vladimir's.
I have been in 2 Orthodox churches -- one an Antiochean church 50 miles away, and an independent Orthodox church.
There is a Greek Orthodox congregation closeby, but some of the stuff I read on the GO archdiocese website made me very uncomfortable -- one article, for example, said that salvation can be found outside of Christianity.
Are there any traditional Orthodox churches in North Carolina? And are there any suggestions for reading about Orthodoxy?
Thanks for your help.
