Blasphemy!!!

The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

How did Madonna, now a resident of Britian, manage to absent herself from this horror? I thought this would be her kind of thing...

These are wax-work dummies? Perhaps Madonna is not an exhibit there, or she did not give permission for her effigy to be so used?

Interestingly or not, some 'church' spokespersons (did I get that gender neutral noun right?) did not rush into condemnation and appeared to feel at least the 'Nativity scene' put the real meaning of Christmas back in the public eye.

Personally, I find Mr and Mrs Beckham exceedingly tedious and the so-called 'Nativity scene' an unwanted and grossly disrespectful parody. Just my two pence worth..........

It should also be noted that this is all the work of Mme. Tussaud's. The subjects in question had no idea that this was going to be done.

schultz,
I was just about to say the same thing...
They also might not have a choice about how their images are displayed there, or the museum probably doesn't need the permission to set it up. After all, the Beckhams are well know public figures, and Mme. Tussaud's probably wanted the publicity. Forgive them, they know not what they do.
