Dear Mr. Ephrem,

In all seriousness, do the Monophysites receive communion? If so, do you believe that the communion is already Christ before the "transmutation" since you believe that Christ was only God and not man?

Dear my unworthy servant,

Yes, we receive communion. We do not believe that it is Christ before the transmutation, but after the transmutation, do not admit of two substances, Christ and bread, but only Christ Who has changed the bread into Himself. This is unlike the heretical belief which says that in the communion, there is both Christ and bread. Thank you for your question.
