I imagine the new matyrs pray for the restoration of thier Russian Church.
Now I am trying to be very careful here, because I dont have an opinion of my own on this matter and I am not taking any kind of stance at this point because of my ignorence and immaturity.
My question is, under what circumstances, if any, would the various Traditionalist Churches accept that the Russian Orthodox Church could be, is being or has been re-established within Russia as a continuation of the Church that existed there before the communists?
What I find difficult to accept is the implied denial of the possibilty of authentic spiritual life (as experienced in the True Church of Christ and the Apostles and the Fathers) in Russia today that I assume follows on from some of the positions held by some of the people who post here.
My understanding of heresy is first and foremost to lead a false spiritual life. This understanding may be flawed.
Responses from all Churches represented by posters on this site would be appreciated and if my question is unclear I will try to think some more and clarify.
