Perhaps there are some very influential women in Turkey, but I am unfamiliar with conditions there.

Personally, I think the notion is fanciful; Jews and Muslims are not exactly on good terms these days. Unless this is coming from some saint or prophet, I am not inclined to believe it.

I'm not sure I follow. Why would a saint or prophet ever call for the rebuilding of the Jewish Temple? The notion of a restoration of a third temple is an affront to God. This is exactly what the Freemasons endeavor to bring forth, by the way. The restoration of the Temple of Solomon, and the observances of the old covenant.

A number of holy fathers speak of the Antichrist himself giving the order for the temple to be rebuilt, not active plans to rebuild the temple prior to his manifestation.

I know that. My point is that some of us have no capacity for critical thought and naively swallow every story in the news that can be made to fit into some grand theory about the rebuilding of the Temple, the Masonic conspiracy, World War Three etc etc. Just because some fringe Turkish journalist opines that it would be nice to rebuild the Temple and open it to Jewish and Muslim worship does not mean this is likely to ever happen. A very basic knowledge of current geopolitical realities ought to have demonstrated the foolishness of this idea.
