Interesting if True: Pope and End of World

Post by Matthew »

I came across this rumour tidbit:

Dramatic events are unfolding, such as the meteor strike on Russia and worldwide reports of other meteors in the past few days, reminding us of the coming of "Wormwood" and other events in the heavens. The fact that 2 lightning strikes hit the Vatican just 6 hours and 6 minutes after Pope Benedict announced his retirement may also be a "sign" of dramatic developments about to unfold. The Cardinal's Conclave may meet earlier than expected and confer on March 15 - "the Ides of March" for selecting a new Pope. How ironic would it be if they chose someone on that date. There is much speculation surfacing now that the next pope will be The False Prophet or The Antichrist.

This site, aoreports.com, is a questionable "Christian" group.

The quote below is from their Statement of Faith, which notably does not include the Nicene Creed:

The entire salvation process is through the actions and work of the God-man, the Lord Jesus Christ, alone and not by any human effort. A human being can do nothing to please God, apart from the reliance upon God’s actions and promises to act. This then, rules out church membership, water-baptism actions, communion, or any other physical human activity (as wonderful as they may be). No human action removes or solves the sin barrier problem nor does human activity maintain a standing with God. Maintenance of a relationship with God still as always rests solely with the cross-work of Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

I was NOT advocating their Babdist doctrine (They pronounce Baptist as "BAB-dist") I was only quoting their news reporting. Most of what they put out (and the only thing they have Im interested in is) their world news gathering particularly events that involve globalist agendas. That is all. Surely you know I am not at all in favour of the absolute heresy of their religious beliefs!

Of course. I just wanted to point out to inquirers that we do not hold the same Statement of Faith as these "Babdists" do.
What if this new Pope Peter II were to die, and then there is elected a Pope Peter III?

Sometimes I wonder if those with a nefarious agenda are trying to force the hand of God and hasten the Second Coming.
What I cannot comprehend is why would those in league with Satan want to to be in hell for all eternity? Lord have mercy.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
