"Dear friends of our monastery! Today, on the Exaltation of the Holy Cross and in the appearance day of Lesna Icon of the Mother of God, departed to the Lord our dear nun Pelagia namestnitsa monastery. Fr Euthymius, the confessor of our convent, Mother Abbess Macrina and several sisters gathered around m. Pelagia, to sing at the departure of the soul canon. In the end even sang "Your Cross ...", she especially loved, and said goodbye to her. A few minutes later, while reading the 9th hour, she quietly and peacefully fell asleep in the Lord. Mother Pelagia (in miru Hilda Winifred Allen) was 94, and a monk she labored for 32 years. We ask for your holy prayers for the repose of her soul light!"
"Сегодня, в день Воздвижения Честного и Животворящего Креста Господня и в день явления Леснинской иконы Пресвятой Богородицы, отошла ко Господу наша дорогая монахиня Пелагия, наместница монастыря. Матушка Пелагия сегодня утром причастилась святых Христовых Таин. После обеда стало ясно, что она отходит ко Господу, и незадолго до вечерней службы о. иеромонах Евфимий, духовник нашей обители, Матушка Игумения Макрина и несколько сестёр собрались у м. Пелагии, чтобы спеть Канон на Исход Души. В конце пропели еще "Кресту Твоему...", которое она особенно любила, и попрощались с ней. Через несколько минут, пока читали 9-й час, она мирно и спокойно отошла ко Господу. Матери Пелагии (в мiру Хильда Винифред Аллэн) было 94, и в монашестве она подвизалась 32 года. Просим Ваших святых молитв об упокоении ея светлой души!"
