Do you think this is 100% true?!? Then again, it is Russia, and many things can be bought for $500....but I never would have thought that a homosexual marriage blessed in the Russian Orthodox Church would be one of them.....

I am skeptical of this story. Here in the US, SCOBA just issued a decree that condemned homosexual marriage. I will wait to see what other sources report.

The BBC's a pretty legit source I'd think. It'd sounded like the priest didn't wanna marry them but was told to from his bishop since the MP got paid good.

I don't know what these two "gentlemen" thought they accomplished if this did in fact happen - two men cannot marry before God, anymore than a man and a chimp can so marry. They can shack up, and go on doing whatever ugly things it is they do, but it cannot, and can never be a "marriage", let alone a Church one.

As for the MP's alleged involvement...while I don't necessarily believe ugly things said about the MP just because it's being said about the MP, I wouldn't be surprised if this really happened - particularly when you consider the financial incentive involved, and the amount of poverty and corruption that really does exist in Russia (and sadly, in the MP as well.)
