God bless you! It's good to start thinking about becoming Orthodox during Great Lent. Tell us more about yourself, where you live and so forth.
I am in the GOC/HOTCA, that is, the American Metropolis (under Met Pavlos of Astoria) of the True Orthodox Church of Greece (under Abp Chrysostomos II of Athens). Of course, I would very much like you to join our jurisdiction!

Hi,
May God bless your journey. I'm a convert too. I remember the obsticles that I confronted, but it was worth it. I wanted this with all my heart and nothing would stop me from getting to baptism. If you trust in God then He will make the path clear for you.

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond.
I live about 50 miles north of San Francisco,CA.
I have a lot of problems, which is why I am here, I guess...Too much sin and not enough faith in my life.

Christ is Risen!
You should contact the priests here. They can help you through your issues. Remember St. Moses the Ethiopian and St. Paul? If they can turn their lives around, so can you.
The important step is to believe that the Orthodox faith is the whole truth. Whatever uncertainties you may have can be answered by the holy fathers. We all have the potential of reaching a blessed life in Christ. If it wasn't possible, then all that Jesus Christ went through would have been for nothing.

Because He is Risen, we know that God loves us and calls us to a renewed life in Him. Continue to ask Him to show you the truth. Reach out to the priest on this site. They can offer guidance. Do not give up and do not let the thinks of this world pull you from the true path. Lord have mercy on you.
