Sickening OCA New Skete Monastery

Notice in the pictures of the icons, an icon of Mother Teresa of Calcutta and Pope Paul, also "Patriarch" Athenagoras and other modernists. Also, look down further on the left side of the two columns and notice the vestment that that priest is wearing! It has animals and mountains and all sorts of other designs sown on to it. How horrible! World Orthodoxy is starting to look way to similar to modern Catholicism. Not to mention that monastery's iconostasis which is almost non-existent.

This can be taked as a profanation?

This church can be viewed as orthodox?

The OCA can sure get twisted in a knot when some money goes missing, but when the faith goes missing it seems it is all the better for them.

I just cannot believe the vestments on this "priest". These are the Royal vestments of Christ? How could anyone say the priestly prayers while putting this concoction on with a straight face? I guess one would end such prayers with a "giddyup ".

If that is the case then I could better understand how something like this could happen. Barring any excuse however, this would then have been a perfect time to teach the children about the royal vestments, their importance, symbolism, and seriousness, and not make them into fodder for something "cute".

I believe this is the man-centered mentality, and not the Christ-centered one we should have.
