Daily OT Reading

Does The Church have a guideline for this? I know that there is the daily NT reading, but I was curious about the OT....

I know that, for instance, during Great and Holy Lent there are OT passages to be read, and that they are required reading along with the NT readings as well, but it would be a real blessing if there were some kind of guideline to follow...

I'm going to ask my spiritual father the next chance I get.

You know, I really need to remember to do that more often. It's amazing how just growing up in a protestant country can influence your spiritual welfare, even if you think you're on the right track. I wonder how many of us just do what we feel is okay without asking our spiritual fathers about it.

The one problem with the OT is that there are so many names and genealogy in it, and this can make one's eyes glaze over.
