Maybe It's Just Me?

Is it just me or would life (and this forum) be so much better if there weas less polemics and more prayer? Maybe it IS just me, and maybe I am alone in this, but this I think is part of the reason that things here seem to be very negative and un-Orthodox. I'm going to bite my tongue before I miff anyone off, not to mention the fact that my actions on the past do not in any way allow me to say anything in regards to this, this is part of the reason I am leaving the world of the internet and joining a monastery. There I can truly live out the struggle and life of an Orthodox Christian.

I totally agree with you Juvenaly. However, whenever I try to flee I eventually find myself pulled back as that this place is the closest thing to anything I believe in. In the end, after I cut away all the bad I still do get alot out of this place.

Good luck to you and your decision. I hate to be personal but maybe I have been gone too long. I thought you were married, so how can you join a monastery?
