Prayer request

Post by jechenaudrey »

Hello right now I am located in Japan. I am asking for prayers or moeliebens to find a wife(my significant other). Picking out a practicing orthodox christian here is like trying to find a needle in a needle of haystacks

Lord have mercy

(but well if you want to put a burqa to your wife I think the Lord will not let you find her until you are sober)

Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.

If this is how you think, me thinks you will remain single. For your attitude is truly mysoginistic and not rooted in a quest for modesty.

Well your marriage can only be blessed by God if the two parts understand what Orthodx position about marriage is. If you make the confusion between love and sexuality (if your love is sexualizd), if you confuse fidelity with muslim male 's jealousy, your marriage won't be blessed. I doubt God will allow you to find a wife lest it should be a disaster...

I think the first thing we should ask before askying for a partner is to be taught by God about the meaning of marriage...

By the way the Theotokos wore like all the women of the region at this period. I also suggest you to visit the pages I mentionned in the liturgic section. They shows Orthodox women wore clothes typical from their region : byzantine, caucasian, roman etc... There is not a religious ogligation of a particular clothe...

Another option for you is to turn muslim of course
