Visiting Mt. Athos or other Monastery`s-need info

Post by spiridon »

are any of you planning a pilgrimage to Mt.Athos or another Monastery in Russia, Jerusalem, Greece, romania etc for next year....I am very interested in making a pilgrimage say next year this time or before, and dont know who to contact or how to arrange it...do any of you want to plan a trip from america, imagine that a group of Old Calendarists from a couple of true Orthodox Jurisdictions going on a pilgrimage together from america abroad...anyway maybe its a bad idea, but still I need some contacts to make this trip myself if need be..........one place Id love to go to is a womans monastery in Serpukov,Russia ..
there is a Holy Icon that i would love to venerate.......

Greetings!

You could try the Friends of Mount Athos. http://abacus.bates.edu/~rallison/friends/

also

If I had the funds, I would go, though I doubt I would want to leave....

Please pray for me when you go there, I really would appreciate it.

Chrysostomos

Blessed Nativity!!
