Yes I agree with the suggestion of removing the image. It is not world orthodx orthodoxy but folkorical orthodoxy...

Thank you, Katya. It took only a few moments of browsing from link-to-link (visiting associated websites) to verify that the group which posted this picture is NOT an Orthodox group, but one of the (sadly) numerous religious groups that hash together scraps of Orthodoxy, chunks of Catholicism, and elements from Lord-have-mercy other influences. By the time that I spotted a weblink to the "Eparchy of Nebraska, St. Elias School of Orthodox Theology" I quit reading. That last group had/has links to the "Monastery Icons" group (which combines scraps of Orthodoxy with demonic Hindu rituals).

There is enough to criticize negatively within "mainline" Orthodoxy that I feel it appropriate to suggest removing this picture from the board. There is no need to accidentally confuse people into thinking this picture has anything to do with the "normal" new calendar Orthodox.

Until one year ago, that "Archbishop" Crisostomos of who is that Wesite belonged to the Patriarchate of Rumania, all his formation was in "World Orthodox", exactly in Paris... I also know some Romanian (clergymen and lay) that say that the Ecumenism is a good thing, and that the last 5 Popes are men blessed etc... Also in the EP in Latin America say in a similar way. And this it is the predominant position in the "World Orthoxy" in Latin America

The icon is a bit funny if you realise what pope Paul VI did to the Catholic church and what Athenagoras did to the orthodox. Both were humanists. Pope Paul VI, Montini, was a follower of a doctrine called Integral Humanism. He wrote, for example the encyclical populorum progressio, a document on the social concern of the catholic church to build a humane society based on democracy, religious liberty socialdemocratic vulues in the economic system. More traditional popes before him had favoured corporatism that is a more traditional form of state system that has its root in the medieval francic system. This pope concluded the second Vatican council that clearly secularised catholicism, abolished fasts, change the doctrine on the relationship with church and state, stated that all religions (read Vodoo and Animism) has a light and that the cathilic church exists within the church of Christ (instead of saying that i t IS the church of Christ). In a ecumenistic article I read that Patriarch Athenagoras had an audience with the left- wing catholic group Focolare and praised their effort to evangelice the west. Focolares head is always a woman and not a priest or bishop.

So these were the patriarchs that lifted the anathemas.

I dont know if I should weep or laugh.

Funny people are so upset about this icon because of its source; I mean, does it not represent EXACTLY the belief of so many psuedo-orthodox bishops which they embrace? Dare I say that every time these people go to communion they venerate this icon in spirit.
