Bad week for our family. On Ascension day my mother was diagnosed with Parkinson's. She is in her mid-70s so the doctor said the progress will be slow, but it is nevertheless a tough situation.
Yesterday evening my 24-year-old niece, while working with a table saw, had two fingers cut off her right hand. While they were reattached during extensive surgery (including skin grafts), the surgeon is not that hopeful for one of them.
