Prayer for my grand-father.

Post by bogoliubtsy »

My Grandfather, also Peter Hatala, has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and has about six months to live. Although I'm a convert due to mixed marriages, etc., he is cradle Orthodox. He's been out of Church life for quite some time now and I'm trying to arrange for a priest in his area to visit him at the time I'll be seeing him. If you could, please pray that he'll return more fully to the faith as he draws closer to the end of his life. He did request that the Russian 3 bar cross be put on his memorial stone...so i guess that's some progress.

Also, please pray for my mother who is miraculously beating a brain tumor at the moment. She and I believe we have St.Nectarios to thank for this miracle, as she's been praying to him since she was diagnosed and had surgery a little over a year ago.
Her name is Tina.

Thank you!

In Christ,
Peter (josh)

Thank you for the prayers!
Good new...my grandpa says he'd like to have a priest come by soon!
Hope it won't be too hard explaining to the priest why my grandfather lives 4 miles away but has never been to his church. :?

Thanks again for the prayers.
