Memorial Day is this Monday.
This day is set aside for the remembrance of the memories of all soldiers who paid "The Supreme Sacrifice" in the defense of our great country, The United States of America.
Please do not let their memories be forgotten, especially on this day.
Take time to say some prayers for those who gave their lives in the "line of duty."
Soldiers do not have the "luxury" to question orders...they follow them, and sometimes that means...to the end.
The following was copied from a Viet Nam Memorial site with poems written by soldiers, some anonymous. This one is rather poingant simply because every word is true.

It is the Soldier
It is the soldier, not the reporter,Who has given us freedom of the press.
It is the soldier, not the poet,Who has given us freedom of speech.
It is soldier, not the campus organizer,Who has given us the freedom to demonstrate.
It is the soldier,
Who salutes the flag,
Who serves beneath the flag,
And whose coffin is draped by the flag,
Who allows the protester to burn the flag.
