HOCNA Literature

Post by Justin Kissel »

Does anyone know where I can read about the origins of HOCNA from a HOCNA point of view? Anti-HOCNA material is plentiful on the net, but I've had some difficulties finding pro-HOCNA stuff.

Dear Justin,

the book I mentioned to you in the Theology section, The Struggle Against Ecumenism is probably the only book I know of that is public and favorable towards HOCNA. It is good reading, though not always complete about all the details concerning the Old Calendar struggles.

You may also go to hocna.org, which contains links to HOCNA's official publication, The Faithful Steward, available in Acrobat format. This site has links to HOCNA's yahoo news group and the Orthodox Christian Witness, as well. The address for Holy Transfiguration Monastery is

This site also has links to very informative articles about HOCNA.
