Wednesday May 26th, 2004 was the last day of school for the school sytem in a small midwestern town and many people were sent home from school early due to an even stricter than usual zero-tolerance policy, one of whom was named Brandon. Brandon was extremely depressed for unknown reasons, upon going home he opened up a safe with his father's many guns, took the closest handgun and shot himself in the head pointing up at about an 83 degree angle near his eye towards his brain. After school was out his brother, only two years older, arrived home and found his younger brother lying on the floor of their second story room. He immediately called 911 and then his parents. Late that night Brandon was in brain surgery for hours on end. today he has a 50% chance of living, is completely blind in one eye, partially blind in the other, almost deaf in both ears, and if he lives will no longer be the bright promising young man he once was, he will be of a hopefully remedial IQ and may most likely be mentally retarded for the rest of his life. While he isn't an Orthodox Christain I humbly ask for the prayers of you all for my friend, Brandon.
