I am fond of the Jerusalem Patriarchate in America. I have contacts with several members of it and visit their parish on Long Island occasionally.
You can visit the JP but if you were a priest with the Antiochians you could not concelebrate with them, because Met Philip has "issues" with the Jerusalem Patriarchate in America.

Please do not message me with questions about the forum or moderation requests. Jonathan Gress (jgress) will be able to assist you.
Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.
Christ is Risen!
The JP was in America long before the EP established the GOA in 1930. As early as 1918 Metropolitan Panteleimon served as Exarch of the Metochion of the Holy Sepulchre, ordaining the future Athonite Elder, Fr Joachim before he set out for the Holy Mountain.
The JP withdrew leaving EP to administer to the Greeks previously served by JP clergy. So we are not strangers to these shores. As for stealing parishioner or rustling other flocks - I don't think our Metropolitan would allow that. Met Philip presents an imposing picture in his cowboy/sheriff's outfit (sic!).
However on the day, should it ever happen, that someone from the Antiochians joins us, I will have to rewrite this post!
So far our missionary work has embraced the immigration from Eastern Europe, including non-Orthodox, whom I have baptized.
