Orthodox Services with commerical sponsors?

"Commerical sponsor" is a bit of a spin. What I read in the article is that a company is requesting a moleben. If one of the people on this site who opened, say, an internet church supply store, wanted a priest to hold a moleben for the success of his company and its clients, would you say, "Oh, that's commercial sponsorship?" Wouldn't you, in fact, encourage him to do something like hold a moleben?
Or do the canons permit only individuals to request special needs services?
