Post by Justin Kissel »

As someone requested, here is the poll :)

If you are a member of ROAC, ROCiE, any of the GOC's, TOC, HOCNA, or any other group that is considered by most "zealot" or extreme, please feel free to vote in this poll.

Whoops! I voted before I read the poll description. I am in ROCOR so you should subtract one cradle vote!

Sorry about this.

I am a convert from a long path. Roman to Latin, to sedevacatist, to Uniate, to WO, to Traditional Orthodoxy.

I am new to this whole cafe' thing, so I hope I am doing this right.

As for the poll, put one more down for the convert side.

The hallmark for being Orthodox is being "zealot" or extreme? Is that zeal not according to knowledge or 'extreme' as in something akin to the Donatist heresy?

One sign I was taught as a young man was a sign of schism was the phenomena of repeated splintering. Sadly this appears to be a feature all too ofen of 'church' life today.

Who says it is not according to knowledge?

What Holy Father said this?
