Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but wasn't Patrick Barnes of the Orthodoxinfo site part of the TOC (Cyprian) Church before? The introduction now says that he is ROCOR...

I thought that he was a member of ROCOR before he joined the local Cyprian TOC church in Iowa. Could this, perhaps, just be an old about the web master page?

I thought it was on this page that I had read about him being in the TOC before though? :? Not that it's of vital importance, I'm just confused. :)

I do not know. Anyway, I have sent him an email asking him about this and inviting him to reply here is he so desires.

I, too, recall reading that he was in the TOC under Met. Cyprian...

Dear Nicholas,

Thanks for your note. I apologize for taking so long to reply. I've been
offline for over 5 days.

Yes, I am now with ROCOR-L. It's a long and personal story so I won't go
into it. Suffice to say that I was granted a canonical release by Bishop
Auxentios and left in good standing.

I attend a parish in WI, but this is not a long term solution as it's 2.5
hours away. I'm seeking God's will as to my next step, but given the current situation in ROCOR I think prudence dictates much patience. These are difficult, confusing times.

... If you want, you may post my reply.

In Christ,

Patrick
