The works of Liudprand, bishop of Cremona (c. 962-972), are important sources attesting to the nature of the "Pornocracy" period of the Papacy (904-964). His report on the papal legation to Constantinople also provides a unique view of the Eastern Church from the Western Church in the first millennium.
