Qatar today

Post by Barbara »

Spanish account gives superb analysis of Qatar's dire situation:

"Now Qatar, which is a bit (just a bit, not much) more serious than Bahrain. Now Qatar is starting to convince itself that the Yanks have already been defeated by Iran and that Israel is inevitably heading toward disintegration.

Its two allies are going down the drain, and now Qatar is starting to pivot to land on its feet and be the first to ally with Iran looking ahead to the postwar era.

Qatar has, just like Bahrain and Saudi Arabia, a despotic monarchy as its regime.

The nature of its ruling and leading class is the same as that of the other artificial Arab countries in the Gulf: bloodthirsty and terribly corrupt kings and princes that nobody elected and that represent no one but themselves.

But of course, Qatar is 15 times larger in territory than Bahrain and nearly triples it in population and GDP.

When Qatar starts to loosen up, it's because in Bahrain they already know that regime change is just a matter of time. The despot of Qatar sees that the despot of Bahrain is going to fall into the hands of a people that's been building up resentment for a while.

Qatar's foreign minister said today—in English, so that everyone understands clearly and there are no misunderstandings—the following:

“We've said it countless times: Iran has been there for millennia and it's not going anywhere. You can't annihilate it. We're going to have to learn to live with each other. They attacked our sovereignty, but we're going to have to find a way to get through this ordeal, which is a very difficult moment. The relationship with Iran has to be one of brotherhood.”

It's a lie that they've said it countless times; they started saying it now that everything's gone to hell. [I've never heard the Qatar family say ANYthing nice about Iran !]

Just 48 hours ago, the Qataris were fired up alongside the Saudis and the rest of the Gulf's despotic regimes in a clear demand to the United States and Israel: wipe the Iranians off the map while we're still in time to do it.

Well, apparently the Qataris have realized they're no longer in time to do that; they've realized the Yanks can't handle Iran and that Israel is made of cardboard. <<<
They married the wrong candidate and now they have to get out of that relationship before they get annihilated themselves.

Still, it's unlikely they'll achieve much more than a safe-conduct to go live in exile with a small portion of the fortune they've amassed.

The Iranians aren't going to allow the Gulf Arabs to keep being governed by a comprador, sodomite [2nd time I have seen that description today for the Qatar "royal family" - hmm. It is documented that the previous head of the al-Thani family was prominently in the Ep files], corrupt, and deeply anti-Islamic elite. The Iranians want to sandwich the Gulf despots between two slices of bread.

Basically because they've shown they fear death more than God, and that's unforgivable for a Muslim.

So the Qatari monarchy is trying to save face, because the night is coming for them.

As an artificial country, Qatar is destined from here on out to be a satellite of Iran, just as it was until now of the United States and Israel.

That's a genuine regime change."

AT LAST, MbA [the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, a member of the ruling al-Thani family] said something HONEST about the US and its completely selfish motivations, instead of always tiptoeing around regarding it and is not real [< though he does use the indirect "another country" to refer to is not real] :

"Finally, an Arab country has taken a strong decision

Qatar is the first Gulf country to take the decision to withdraw US forces from its lands

Qatar's Foreign Minister, from the moment he came out, spoke and said that Qatar has paid a heavy price for the presence of foreign forces on its land
Qatar's relationship with Iran is a relationship of brothers and siblings, and we will not allow it to be harmed again through Qatari lands

America has broken all its promises with us and only thinks about itself, and in the end, Qatar is the biggest loser

If America were truly thinking about Qatar's interests, it would respect its decision not to trespass on any country, but it seems it's only exploiting our lands to protect another country.

Hopefully the rest of the Gulf countries follow"
