Vasily,

We can't judge monks (belonging to a patriarchate) if they follow the new or old calendars

I would not want to be found judging someone, but I am always found discerning what is Orthodox and what is not.

I can say that a monk or a priest or a bishop is not Orthodox if they are communing with someone preaching heresy, such as just about every bishop and priest in new-calendarism today - this includes every monastery on Mt. Athos except Eshigmenou.

Reducing the issue to be simply over the calendar completley ignores the real issue. A person is not sick because he is in a wheel chair, they are in a wheel chair because they are sick. And a person who is sick may not even be in a wheel chair.

Elder Ephraim has no justification and no precedence to be in communion with anyone preaching heresy. There are some very pious Roman Catholics I know, and unfortunatley, they are outside the Church as much as Ephraim.

Vasily,

Are you in Greece?

That is simply an opinion, because there can be holy people within the Patriarchates who have performed miracles such as Saint Justin Popovich, who was an open confessor against Ecumenism.

"St." Justin Popovich broke communion with his Patriarch when the Serbains joined the WCC.

And because the Roman Catholics have saints who performed miracles, they are in the Church? What does Holy Scripture say about anyone who would teach something other than Orthodoxy, even is "they be an Angle from heaven" They are accursed!

The Holy Fathers are unanamous with reagrd to this, there can be no communion with heretics. Now is Bartholomew a heretic or not? Are monophysites heretics or not?

The chanting is mostly from my collection of CD's. If you like them and use a PC, you'll find them after you've listened to them at

C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files

"Owner" may be another name...

Look for mp3 files. I hope I am not sued now.
