It looks like a rocket launch gone awry, and even the photographer admitted that at first. There are two smoke debris trails. While this could have been an asteroid that broke into two during the massive explosion, it could have also been some kind of test that backfired as Arizona has a massive number of Air Force bases scattered all over the state.
Since the government has lied to us before, I wonder if this is just another cover-up.
