By reading this translation of a Greek communication, people certainly can see that the EP is being very oppressive and draconian in order to control the people under him and silence them from denouncing his deliberate move toward unity with the Vatican and the Roman Pontiff.
Whereas in the past ages, the monks of Mt. Athos have inspired the faithful to remain true to Holy Orthodoxy, today's monks and abbots are leading the people of God astray.
All the added blue coloring is my emphasis:

Author Nikos Chiladakis,
Sent me a video of a small excerpt, from a speech given by Father Sava of the Great Lavra, that occurred on December 28, 2014. This speech literally left me speechless and unfortunately reminded me of what was once prophesied by Saint Kosmas of Aetolia about the clergy in the End Times: "The clergy will be the worst and most impious of all" from Father-Kosmas 57th Prophecy pg 39
A lady inquired during this particular speech, if it is true that the Abbot of the Monastery of Kostamonitou, Holy Mount Athos in Greece, was troubled on whether he should still commemorate the Ecumenical Patriarch on account of his joint-prayer with the Pope of Rome.
But the above mentioned Abbot of Kostamonitou Monastery, on addressing the question of ceasing commemoration of the Ecumenical Patriarch, to his spiritual father Ephraim of Arizona, was advised that he cannot do this because the other sister Monasteries of Kostamonitou will not follow him and therefore it will be pointless.
Father Ephstratios then intervened, by stating the the Ecumenical Patriarch made threats against Elder Ephraim of Arizona, that if Ephraim gave such an approval to not commemorate His Holiness Bartholomew then His Holiness Bartholomew will ruin Elder Ephraim. In other words, as Father Ephstratios has stated, this is what the Ecumenical Patriarch means by exile, violence, and tyranny!
Realistically speaking, if everything publically stated by Father Ephstratios is true, then what should be said about all this by everyone who toils for the True Word of Orthodox, or by all who allegedly uphold the truth by facing exile, violence, and tyranny? Is this the Orthodoxy they are allegedly interceding for and claiming to fight against Ecumenism?
Once again I say with great sorrow, for a flock without worthy ones, (those who remained), Shepherds in such a final age. Most of them babbling away with irrepressible religiosity turning a blind eye to what is shockingly occuring around them.
Saint Hippolytus: "The shepherds will be like wolves; the priests will embrace falsehood; the monks will lust after the things of the world..." From Saint Hippolytus of Rome, Ante-Nicene Fathers, Volume 5, Hippolytus, Cyprian, Caius, Novatian, Appendix to the Works of Hippolytus. Containing Dubious and Spurious Pieces, A discourse by the most blessed Hippolytus, Bishop and Martyr, on the end of the world, and on Antichrist, and on the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, Section VII
Abba Moses of Ethiopia: "In those days... they will elect abbots and shepherds: men without virtues, unbelievers... not discerning the right path from the left, careless and worrying about many things who will seize their primacy with gifts... without knowing how to catechize and admonish the flock... from such negligence and despisement from the shepherds, they will lead themselves to perdition..." From D. Panagopoulos, "Holy and Wise Men concerning things to come", Prophesy of Abba Moses of Ethipoia, page 6
