Patriarch Bartholomew's media machine works overtime to portray him as a great protagonist of peace. His media relations department went to great lengths to show the world how the Patriarch is working with Pope Francis to bring peace to the Middle East. He prayed together with the Pope, the President of Israel and Palestinian President Abbas for peace in the Middle East.
His promoters, however, do whatever they can to hide his ruthless persecution of the True Orthodox that oppose him.
On Friday, October 31st, Patriarch Bartholomew sent a Greek SWAT team to break into a residence in Thessaloniki that belongs to the Monastery and evict the one monk who was there. This residence was used to house Fathers of the Monastery that needed to be near hospitals in Thessaloniki. The police cordoned off surrounding blocks to prevent supporters of the Monastery from hindering the assault and arrested the monk. The monk that was arrested is a cancer survivor that needed to be near his hospital. The police broke in while he was lying in his bed and took [him] to the jail near the White Tower.
The “Patriarch of Love and Peace” has shown once more, who he really is.
