New World Orthodoxy Creed!

Post by Anastasios »

Well not really ;-) I thought since some of you always say that World Orthodoxy is lost to ecumenism that I would rewrite a hypothetical pledge of allegiance for ecumenist World Orthodoxy:

I pledge allegiance
to the flag
of the Ecumenist state of theology
And to the revisions
for which they stand
One nature, under Goddess
Indiscriminate,
with liberality and Orthodox baptism for none

hope i don't offend anyone with a good-natured joke.

Please note that I do not subscribe to "Old Calendar Ecumenism" and believe that only the Synod of Archbishop Kallinikos is the canonical GOC of Greece. I do believe, however, that we can break down barriers and misunderstandings through prayer and discussion on forums such as this one.

Unfortunatly, I think Anastasios very well summarized Ecumenist belief, or at least were they are headed anyway. Paticularly the Orthodox baptism for none.
