  • Participants who pointed at their head answered test questions more accurately, and those who pointed at their heart were more likely to let emotions sway their decisions in a moral dilemma

Since taking a test in a cardboard box or confined space adversely affects our ability to think, then it follows that taking tests in cubicles at test centers as is currently done with the GRE and other formal tests could possibly lower the test score further dumbing down the national scores.

These test analyses are completely subjective. The researchers want to see what they want to see. And that becomes their conclusion. What would be interesting is the analysis from the point of view of a Protestant, Catholic, Orthodox, Atheist or other religious belief. How would they all analyse the same data?

That is a good point.

In another study, researchers came to the conclusion that Democrats were more intelligent than Republicans. I forgot the specifics, but many people questioned the validity of this study. Questions and data obtained can always be manipulated.
