Hieromonk Averky has been ordained for the podvoriye of the Serbian TOC in Astoria, NY (USA), and Hieromonk Naum as the priest for New Stjenik Monastery. "

So Hieromonk Naum will be the main priest for New Stjenik ? Wow.

And also the new Priest John [Ristich] will be the priest for The Paraclete - wonderful, but I hope that doesn't mean
that poor Hieromonk Maxim is going to be out of commission for awhile due to his sad injuries.

Does anyone have more information about the podvorie in Astoria, N.Y? Does this mean that some Autocephalous Church has granted the Serbian TOC the right to establish a presence in their territory? If so, which one? This is wonderful news, indeed!
