a modest and demure demeanor like THAT.

for the first time since I mentioned it on here 6 - 7 months ago.
I felt then it had to do with Mt Athos and monks due to the black color.
I wonder what the significance is, but as it was quite a fancy rig, I wonder whether it symbolizes the persecution of the
suffering monks who have done NOTHING wrong at ALL ?

Has anyone noticed that the EP is far worse than any Pope of Rome has ever been?
The current EP seems to be willing to kill the True Orthodox monks on Mt. Athos because these monks will not commemorate him during their Holy Services. In fact, the EP's actions seem worse than the Roman "Holy" Inquisition as the EP is serving as Judge, Jury and Executioner.

Sadly the photographs are in the public domain and will shape opinion both within Orthodoxy and beyond. And in this age of fudge, live and let by, and an often ill-informed and spiritually bereft populace it is quite damaging. You may see it but influencing it for the better or effecting a balance is an uphill task.
I note that one rabid NC on OC.net has forecast posters here will be in frenzy, etc. My feeling are one of great sadness.
