Please pray re CAL AB 1266 – Forced Co-Ed Locker Rooms

Post by Maria »

Please pray. If this bill becomes law, then all Orthodox Christians in California would be forced to homeschool their children. Actually, all Christians should be homeschooling all their children anyway to insure that they get truly Orthodox Christian values and not the secular humanism that is forced on them by public schools.

  • The intent of this bill is not to help our children get a better education – it is to integrate and encourage alternative sexual lifestyles by utilizing the school system. There is no protection for students that object to sharing bathrooms, showers, and locker rooms with students of the opposite sex. Such students could be subject to discrimination claims and punishment under anti-bullying laws. ... The state should not allow mixed sexes into locker rooms and bathrooms based on a few students that claim to be a different gender than their gender at birth.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Here is the Legislative update on California AB 1266:

4/17/13 – Passed through Assembly Education Committee
5/9/13 – Passed 46-25 on the Assembly floor

Now it heads to the California Senate where it is sure to pass without any challenges.
Lord have mercy.

Note: Do not use public restrooms unless you cannot avoid them.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

This appears to be another example of institutionalised madness on the part of the body politic in California, and as the cited article makes clear the majority of students' rights are simply elbowed aside.

Mad and sinister.

Exactly, Stephen and Maria !

Now, Maria, do you mean that all restrooms would be "co=ed" and that is why not to use them ?
I have not been in one for ages and ages and ages ! I felt early on that they were vile. That was decades ago -
so one can not even imagine about now !

Or do you mean for school children?

It's GOOD advice for all : some people are creatures of habit and don't really think about any of these problems.

I had heard not a thing about this law. Just disgusting !!
The world is going crazy but at the head of the charge into insanity is guess which country ?!
Just waiting for God to employ some punishment. It is fully deserved by all the participants in such diabolical ideas
which are then enforced by state law ! Shocking.

What? Shared locker rooms? That's horrible. I wouldn't want boys lusting after my daughter while she changes if I ever have kids someday. Likewise, I don't want to be tempted even more with lust right now. Then again, if any student objects to it, they could always just change in the school bathroom in a private stall before PE, but, that's kind of a hassle and seems impractical just to satisfy a few transexual students.

"'Blessed are the peacemakers' For those are peacemakers in themselves who, in conquering and subjecting to reason all the motions of their souls and having their carnal desires tamed, have become in themselves a Kingdom of God."-St. Augustine of Hippo (Confessions)

This is not about fully shared locker rooms; that's an exaggeration. It's about allowing "transgendered" individuals to use the locker room of the opposite sex. Still absurd, but it's not like they're proposing to integrate everyone.

It is the slippery slope: First a forced Co-Ed locker room policy that favors transgendered, then a forced Co-Ed locker room for everyone.

Once you allow a wanna-be girl with boy parts (until the magic age of 18) to enter a locker room and stand stark naked in front of hormonal girls, you have got a problem.

However, a wanna-be boy with girl parts would be in danger of her life as she could be raped if she stood stark naked in front of a bunch of teenage boys with raging hormones.

What are our elected officials thinking?

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
