Yes some would like to think that Fr.Seraphim Rose of blessed memory would leave rocor upon communion with MP and world Orthdox, but the fact remains that Fr.Seraphim is at rest and he never mentioned that and his appearances today have never given any messages of that topic...I know almost a dozen Priests within Rocor and a couple of other Orthodox jurisdictions out here in san francisco who lived with Fr.Seraphim in Platina and they are following with the union...
I think that Fr.Seraphim would be be our Archbishop today, had he Survived...and unfortunately probally wouldnt have been with Fr.Herman...if you look at the people and there spirit, those who were closer to Fr.Herman are those in Rocie,Greek old calendars and others, and those who were close to Fr.Seraphim remained in the church Abroad...

Fr Herman is now an employee of the Soviet Church. That says it all.

In saying this, I think you might be guilty of super-correctness. The Russian Orthodox Church is not communist, but was, by the grace of God, able to survive through the age of communism.

Peace.

I didnt say the Russian Orthodox Church was Communist, I didnt refer to it- I refered to the Soviet imposter Church. Why dont you sit down and actually read the book on the New Martyrs that Palatina put out? I think reading those lives you will begin to see things differently. Maybe you will be honest and say you believe St Joseph and Kirill are schismatics? That would be refreshing after a fashion.

Again "super-correctness" refers to people like WCC Archbishop Lazar who goes so far in making everything unwestern that he ends up unOrthodox.

What I've heard from a ROCOR monastery is that he recanted of communism when becoming patriarch.
