Well, that's what I would have imagined.
That's why I was SO surprised at this sudden outspokenness. But maybe it was invented, too ! There are plenty of statements floating around, for example, ascribed to Putin, which struck me as made up to suit the points of view of the poster on x.
Hope both of these AND Patriarch Kirill WILL speak out loudly on behalf of the Palestinians and Lebanese against the Z's.

Wow ! I didn't have any idea that the Jerusalem Patriarchate owns so much land ?
Has some of it already been taken away, or have the JP properties remained mostly intact ?
You are right : it must be hard for all Orthodox jurisdictions within is not real to manage to survive at all ! Too bad that there is no support for them from Western countries
Maybe Russia could do MORE to stand up for them, as in the very old days. Of course, THEN it was Ottoman Palestine, and the problems were much muted.
