This is CURRENT NEWS and COMMENTARY to help understand the news

The topics HERE are POLITICAL AND SOCIAL ISSUES - zero to do with Orthodoxy

We have many OTHER sections for Orthodox topics

If someone is not interested, they don't need to read here

However, if you think about it, just having posts on many international topics can DRAW IN people from all over the world who would NEVER hear of Orthodoxy in any form, True or World, otherwise.

If foreign readers or knowledgeable people see that topics are brought up and discussed from a true point of view, as opposed to the mainstream lies of American media, they will likely stick around to learn more, as the truth resonates, whether political or religious. One can lead to the other.

"UAE doubles down on stupid!

Despite the obvious failure of U.S. military equipment, the UAE reaffirmed a $1.4 trillion investment in the U.S. and it plans to buy more air defense systems that don’t work!

Nobody ever accused Sunni supremacist Gulf slave state Arabs of being high IQ!"

"Dubai is collapsing.
Things are worse than they were before the ceasefire.
UAE leaders are still pressuring America for a ground invasion of Iran.
They believe the only solution is a total regime change.
Their deputy prime minister says anything less than that is a threat to the world.
America deployed another 4400 soldiers to Dubai yesterday.
450 hotels shut down in Dubai last week.
The cash flow has dried up.
Tomorrow their most iconic hotel Burj Al Arab is closing for 18 months.
If this collapse keeps going at this rate, the UAE will most likely abandon their zero tax economic model.
This is Dubai's worst phase ever.

One more disaster developing in Dubai.
Dubai is running out of jet fuel.
Flights are already starting to get suspended again.
Because, tankers are too scared to go anywhere near the Strait of Hormuz.
The whole choke point has become a war zone mess.
Next week, Anantara World Islands in Dubai will shut down.
In May, Park Hyatt is closing.
Now it's only commercial flights getting cancelled.
But, if this war continues, cargo flights are next.
That's when Dubai could break.
Food will stop coming in.
No medical supplies. No electronics. Nothing.
Dubai imports almost everything.
Massive shortages could be imminent."

A 24 year old American female airline worker in Dubai has been arrested.
Dubai police installed a surveillance tool on her phone.
Without her consent.
They found her sharing an image of a burning building with her mother.
So they set a trap.
They pretended to be her office staff and called her in for a meeting yesterday.
When she arrived, she was arrested.
That spying tool is installed on every foreigner's device in Dubai.
That means the Dubai Police are watching everything foreigners send to their families.
Every message. Every photo. Every video.
Including the most intimate moments.

"The fact that Dubai Police could spy on a private WhatsApp conversation of an airline crew member using electronic monitoring operations, which led to an arrest is an indication that there is nothing private in WhatsApp.

The end to end encryption claim of Meta is a lie."

Comment may shed light on this particular problem :
"She used the free Data SIM that you get when you arrive at passport control. This installs the Spy Wear. Don't accept it"

Further details, however are here.
It's TRUE that the Dubai authorities have REALLY ADVANCED electronic systems. Surely these are all supplied by is not real
I saw a video about how a big jewelry thief from somewhere in Asia was apprehended very fast before he and his accomplice left Dubai due to the most sophisticated surveillance systems.

"The UAE has access to advanced Israeli spyware that makes it trivial to hack a phone if they only know the phone number. Once the spyware is on your the phone they can see anything you can"

Same source : Xking332, who seems to know a lot about the inner working of this dark sheikhdom

"Iran attacked Dubai way more than it attacked Israel.

Ali Khamenei was assassinated in February.

The final confirmation of his location came exactly from Dubai's surveillance networks.

24 hours before his death, a full US delegation was in Dubai with Amn al Dalwa.

That's their State Security Department.

Twelve intermediaries from Israel were also present.

Dubai was giving intelligence to the US and Israel for months.

Way before the war started.

They were also spying on Iran's cargo ships.

Dubai's intelligence unit hosted 19 secret meetings with US in 2025.

Six in May. Four in August. Nine in November.

Iran State Media confirmed it was the UAE that attacked their Lavan Island.

Iran also believes Dubai was funding weapons that ended up taking out several lives in Iran.

Now Iran is demanding 270 billion from Dubai.

They will also charge a toll fee for their ships to pass through the Hormuz.

The UAE says it won't pay.

So Iran will most likely continue to target their economy.

Dubai is already collapsing."

"How Were the UAE and Israel Stealing Jordan's, Iran's, and Syria's Rain?

The theory circulating to explain the increase in rainfall in Iran, especially after the recent war and the destruction that accompanied it of weather monitoring and observation centers in the UAE—which had been used in cloud seeding and rain-making operations in recent years—is a theory with a scientific basis that can be clearly understood.

But how?

How were the UAE and Israel stealing—yes, stealing—Iran's rain?

The UAE began, in cooperation with Israel since the 1990s, to establish large-scale cloud rain-making programs.

For those who don't know, the rain-making or cloud seeding process is carried out by releasing condensation-stimulating materials inside clouds, such as silver iodide, sodium chloride, and sometimes potassium salts, via specialized aircraft or ground-based generators, so that the tiny water vapor droplets inside the cloud combine and turn into heavier droplets that fall as rain.

The reason is that many clouds pass over a certain area without raining there, because they haven't yet reached the stage of full water maturity, or because the heat in the lower layers prevents precipitation, or because the conditions for atmospheric uplift aren't complete yet. In other words, the cloud is rain-ready, but not yet.

The UAE, due to its location close to the Arabian Sea and the Indian Ocean, receives considerable amounts of seasonal clouds and humidity coming from the south and southeast.

But the nature of the high heat and descending air in large parts of it causes many of these clouds to continue their movement eastward and northward. And when they reach Iran, especially the western and northwestern regions, they collide with elevated terrain like the Zagros Mountains, causing orographic uplift that drives them to precipitate more heavily.

But with the extensive rain-making operations carried out in the UAE, and similar programs implemented by Israel, a portion of the water load of these clouds was depleted before reaching their subsequent natural paths.

The result is that vast areas in Iran, especially its west and northwest, entered into severe and unprecedented waves of drought.

The UAE, especially since 2010, greatly expanded its program and established modern monitoring networks including weather Doppler radars, ground measurement stations, and cloud movement tracking centers, in addition to operating dedicated aircraft for rapid response to passing clouds.

This system wasn't just for observation, but for intercepting passing clouds and inducing rain from them before they completed their path toward Iran.

Israel was doing the same approach, which led to the theft of rains that were naturally heading toward Jordan and southern Syria, causing weakened precipitation in wide areas of both, and pushing large parts into repeated waves of drought.

And since early 2020, after the Abraham Accords, UAE-Israeli cooperation in sensing and monitoring technologies and cloud seeding accelerated, and rain-making programs expanded unprecedentedly, leading to the worsening of drought inside Iran, the theft of more rains from their natural paths, and contributing to the catastrophe of Lake Urmia, which has seen a sharp decline in recent years.

The UAE built no fewer than seven advanced cloud observation and targeting stations and centers, some relying on satellites and model data like ECMWF and GFS, which practically means possessing the capability to intercept clouds and empty them early.

In other words, bluntly, stealing the rains before they reach the rightful owners of the natural path.

And after the current war, with the disruption or damage to some of the radar infrastructure and systems associated with these programs, both Syria, Jordan, and Iran have witnessed a clear increase in rainfall precipitation.

The UAE and Israel lost a large part of their ability to monitor clouds and seed them early, so many clouds are no longer depleted before crossing, and these countries have begun receiving anew the rains they were deprived of for years.

Therefore, anyone who tells you that what the Iranians say about their clouds being stolen by the UAE and Israel is just a myth is either lying to you or ignorant of the idea's basis.

For depleting clouds before they reach their destination has a clear scientific foundation: the cloud that was emptied of its load over another land on its way to you will not arrive to you as it was, and will not rain upon you as it was supposed to."
