"In these days when it's so hard for us people, for other creatures, cats, dogs, birds, it's twice as hard.
Give them a safe and warm place...
Don't withhold your kindness from another creature. Only love is the path to salvation, empathy and kindness are what warm our hearts."

Hope it was Organic Catnip !
"Your cat is probably too cold in your home, and you don’t realize it.
I wish more people understood a cat’s thermoneutral zone. For most cats, it’s 86 to 100°F, meaning this is the temperature range where they can maintain normal core body temperature without burning extra energy to warm up or cool down.
Most homes sit around 68 to 72°F, which can feel fine to humans, but it can create chronic low-grade cold stress for cats. That’s why you see cats curled into tight balls, glued to heating vents, burrowed under blankets, or parked on your lap.
They are not being dramatic. They are trying to reach a comfortable temperature.
Cold stress matters even more for kittens, seniors, thin cats, and cats with kidney disease, arthritis, or hyperthyroidism. Warm resting spots and heated beds can be genuinely therapeutic and an efficient way to support your cat’s comfort.
Save this, share it with every cat person you know, and if you want more under-discussed veterinary issues, follow along."

"My hands are still shaking while I write this
Nacho disappeared 4 years ago when someone broke into my house... They left the door open and he ran out. I searched for him for years, put up posters even in other states, I never stopped looking for him even though everyone told me to let him go
He had a mark that made him unique. A notch in his left ear from when he was little and got into a fight with another cat. I always thought that if I ever saw him again, I would recognize him by that
Today I was walking through a neighborhood where I NEVER go. I saw a skinny orange cat sitting on the sidewalk and something made me stop. I got closer and saw his ear. THE NOTCH. It was him
I called him by his name and his eyes changed. He stood up trembling and walked toward me. He recognized me after 4 years. He sniffed my hands and started purring and crying at the same time
He’s skinny, he has new scars, but he’s alive. 4 years on the streets and today he finally came back home "
